PTIGlobal is seeking Localization QA Testers to join our international team and support technical Quality Assurance (QA) efforts. Principle Duties:
- Perform QA testing on various products in your target language, following detailed instructions and test cases.
- Identify and report defects (bugs) using client-specific bug-tracking tools.
- Evaluate translations in software, mobile apps, and documentation for accuracy and cultural relevance.
- Act as a subject matter expert on linguistic issues, researching and resolving language-related questions.
- Adhere to project-specific quality standards, style guides, checklists, and glossaries.
- Troubleshoot issues and communicate effectively with the team to resolve problems.
- Complete tasks in a timely and quality-driven manner.
Required Background:
- Native-level or fully bilingual fluency in your target language (spoken and written).
- Strong awareness of current technical language usage in your language.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), web navigation using various browsers, and basic knowledge of smartphones (iPhone/Android).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Localization, QA, or translation.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Knowledge of industry-specific terminology (e.g., sports, technical, retail).
