Da Vinci Arts is a focus option school in the Portland (Oregon) public school system. It was started after the school system made cuts in arts programs and funding in 1994. This means that da Vinci, in addition to regular 3-Rs teaching, has a special goal of creating a rich arts-filled learning environment for students, staff, and families–think dance, theater, graphic and 3D arts. In short, a unique learning environment for emergent young students to find their place and talent.
PTIGlobal attended the fund raiser, which was an 80’s theme party and auction, with great music, light play, costumes, and food (as well as bottomless cosmos). What a blast!
And da Vinci grossed $71,650 that night. Congratulations, da Vinci PTSA, for a job well done!
